Monitoring and managing events is crucial for ensuring that workflows run smoothly and that actions are executed as intended. The Event Activity Logs screen provides a detailed view of the events that have been triggered within your system over a specified period.
There are two ways you can access the event activity logs:
- For an individual event.
- For all the events
Accessing Activity Logs For an Individual Event
To access the Event Activity Logs for a specific event, follow these steps:
- Click on the hamburger menu and navigate to "Events" under the Resources section.
- Choose an event that is currently being used in an application and has already been triggered at least once.
- Click on the 'Event Activity Logs' () icon located in the left sidebar menu. (as highlighted below in the screenshot)
Upon accessing the Event Activity Logs screen, you will be presented with a comprehensive table that details the events triggered for a selected user-defined event during the chosen period and within the specified time zone.
Events Filters
The Event Activity Logs screen provides several functionalities to help you monitor and analyze event activity. Here’s how you can use filters to search the records:

Set the Date Range: You can choose from predefined ranges like last 24 hours, last 7 days, and last 30 days or specify custom dates to narrow down the activity logs to a particular time frame. You can use the date range picker at the top of the screen to select the start and end dates for the period you want to review.
- Select the Time Zone: Ensure that the time zone is set according to your requirements. This is crucial for accurately interpreting the event timestamps. The timestamp in the table will be shown as per the timezone selected here.
Once you have configured your filters and search criteria, click the "SEARCH" button to update the logs displayed.
Activity Logs Table
Event Activity Logs, the screen under a specific event displays a table featuring two crucial columns: File Name and Triggered Time. These columns provide detailed insights into each event’s activity. Here’s a closer look at what each column represents and how you can utilize them:

File Name
- Purpose: This column shows the name of the file or entity that triggered the event.

Filter Usage: You can filter events based on the file names associated with them.
- This is particularly useful if you're looking to review activities related to a specific file or set of files.
- To use this filter, type the file name or part of it into the search box under this column to display only the events triggered by files matching your query.

Triggered Time
- Purpose: This column records the exact date and time when each event was triggered.

Filter Usage: Filter events by the specific times they were triggered.
- This helps you isolate events within a particular time window, making it easier to analyze activities during critical periods.
- Use the calendar icon to select a date or a range of dates. The results will update to show only the events triggered within that time frame.
When you click on an activity log, a side panel opens on the right side, displaying more details about the triggered event.
Accessing Activity Logs for All User-Defined Events
To access the Event Activity Logs for a specific event, follow these steps:
- Click on the hamburger menu and navigate to "Activity" under the 'Platform' section.

Select the "Event" icon located on the left-hand side menu.
Upon accessing the Event Activity Logs screen, you will see a comprehensive table detailing all events triggered within your chosen period and specified time zone.
The filters and other features are the same as those described for individual events, with the addition of two new columns: Name and Type:
- Name: The name of the event.
- Type: Indicates the type of event (File Watcher or Adobe Feed Watcher)
