Defines the credentials the Syntasa application will need to establish a connection with the Adobe API providing the ability to pull eVar, sProp, and Event definitions and turn on the automated auditing feature of Syntasa.
After choosing 'Adobe API' as the Connection type, the subsequent fields will auto-populate as follows:
- API Type: Select either option 1.4 or 2.0.
By default, the 1.4 API type will be shown selected with the following fields:

Company/Environment - There are two options to choose from, Company and Environment. For customers, it is recommended to use Company; for dev or testing environments it is recommended to use Environment.
Company Details:- Company - The customer's company name is registered with Adobe Analytics.
- Username - Adobe API username.
- Password - Adobe API password.
Environment Details:

- Username - Adobe API username.

You will find the fields below when you select 2.0 as API Type. These fields collectively provide the necessary credentials and configuration details required to establish a secure and authenticated connection with the Adobe API, version 2.0. Make sure to input accurate and valid information in each field to ensure successful integration with Adobe services.
- Org ID: This field refers to the unique identifier assigned to your organization within the Adobe system. It is typically provided by Adobe when you create or register your organization's account.
- Technical Account ID: The Technical Account ID is a unique identifier associated with your Adobe account. It is used for programmatic access to Adobe services and resources. You can obtain this ID from the Adobe Developer Console when setting up your integration.
- API Key: An API key is a unique identifier used to authenticate requests made to the Adobe API. It acts as a security token that allows your application to access Adobe services. You can generate an API key through the Adobe Developer Console or your Adobe Developer account.
- Client Secret: The Client Secret is a confidential key used in conjunction with the API key to authenticate requests made to the Adobe API. It serves as an additional layer of security to ensure that only authorized applications can access Adobe services. You can obtain the Client Secret from the Adobe Developer Console or your Adobe Developer account.
- Key File Upload: This field allows you to upload a key file containing cryptographic information required for authentication with the Adobe API. The key file typically contains sensitive data such as cryptographic keys and certificates. It is used in conjunction with other credentials (such as the API key and Client Secret) to authenticate and authorize access to Adobe services.
