The Audiences screen provides an overview of the various audience groups and individual audiences that are linked to a specific audience group. This interface is useful for monitoring and managing the audiences within a system. The screen is divided into two primary views: Group and List, each serving different purposes.
Group View
The Group View presents the data organized by audience groups, showing a summary of all audiences categorized under each group. This view helps users manage audiences more efficiently by grouping related audiences.
The following key columns are displayed in the group view:
- Group Name: Displays the name of the audience group. Clicking the Audience group name will take the user to the list view, displaying only its Audience values.
- Audiences: Lists the individual audiences belonging to the respective group.
- Total Result Count: This column displays the number of unique identifier values matching each attribute value condition per partition, usually per day, for the period defined by the Attribute Metric Window Length plus the recency of the attribute group.
- Status: Indicates whether the Audience group is Active or Inactive.
- Edit Icon: Provides quick access to the edit page, where users can modify Audience groups or their values/queries.
List View
In contrast to the Group View, the List View focuses on each audience, showing one row per audience even if multiple audiences belong to the same group. This detailed view helps dive deeper into a specific audience.
The columns visible in this view are:
- Group Name: Indicates the group to which the audience belongs.
- Name: Displays the name of the individual audience. Clicking the audience name will take the user to the Audience Builder screen.
- Created Query: This is a query generated for the audience by selecting the attributes on the Attribute Builder screen. You can modify this query on the Audience Builder Screen.
- Total Result Count: This column displays the number of unique identifier values matching each audience value condition per partition, usually per day, for the period defined by the Audience Metric Window Length.
- Edit Icon: Provides access to modify or update the audience directly from this view.
