The Attribute and Audience Results Tables serve as foundational components for managing and analyzing visitor behavior and audience segmentation within a data layer. These tables enable users to store, preview, and analyze the outcomes of attribute and audience group definitions, ensuring streamlined access to actionable insights. Each type of result table caters to a specific functionality, aiding in the effective execution of audience-building processes and downstream integrations.
Attribute Results Table
The Attribute Results Table is designed to store and manage data produced by attribute builder processes. It provides a centralized location for all attributes created within a data layer, enabling users to analyze visitor behaviors based on specific conditions. Three key tables are created upon defining an attribute table name, which remains unchangeable after the data layer is created:
- Results Table (syn_attribute): Contains unique identifier values for each attribute condition met, partitioned by date.
- Metadata Table (syn_attribute_metadata): Stores the unique attribute values for all attribute builder apps in the data layer.
- Metrics Table (syn_attribute_metrics): Holds daily statistics on the number of unique visitors matching attribute conditions.

Audience Results Table
The Audience Results Table supports the storage and management of data generated by audience builder processes. It acts as a centralized resource for all audience-related outputs within a data layer, facilitating downstream integrations and audience performance analysis. Similar to the Attribute Results Table, three tables are created based on the defined audience table name:
- Results Table (syn_audience): Contains unique identifier values for each audience condition met, partitioned by date.
- Metadata Table (syn_audience_metadata): Stores unique audience values for all audience builder apps in the data layer.
- Metrics Table (syn_audience_metrics): Holds daily statistics on the number of unique visitors matching audience conditions.
