The Profile page provides information about your user account and provides the ability to change your password. The page is available from the user icon () and clicking the submenu item Profile.
Your user account is initially created by the system administrator. Many of the fields seen on the profile page are only editable by the system administrator via the Security menu. The fields available on the page are the following:
Name - Required field, initially set up by the system administrator, but can be altered here.
Username - A required field that is used to login to the Sysntasa application. This can only be altered by the system administrator.
User Type - Informational field detailing whether the user's credentials are managed locally within the Syntasa platform or if the user is authenticating via Google.
Role - User's set role, configured by the system administrator.
- Administrator - Access all areas of the Syntasa application except Audience: Activation, Infrastructure, and Security.
- Composer - Access limited as noted with Administrator, but also within the Workspace menu only has access to apps of Composer type and Composer and Favorites filters.
- Dashboards Viewer - Access limited to the Dashboards menu and only able to view dashboards.
- Orchestrator - Access limited as noted with Administrator, but also within the Workspace menu only has access to apps of Orchestrator type and Orchestrator and Favorites filters.
- Synthesizer - Access limited as noted with Administrator, but also within the Workspace menu only has access to apps of Synthesizer type and Orchestrator and Favorites filters.
- System Admin - Access to all areas of the Syntasa application.
Email Address - Initially set up by the system administrator, but can be altered here.
Change Password - Toggle this if needing to update your password. Doing so will prompt you for the new password to be entered along with a confirmation.
