- Audiences - The Syntasa Audience Solution provides users with Data Management Platform (DMP) capabilities of organizing centralized behavioral and non-behavioral user data into attributes, combining attributes to create audience segments, and passing the audiences to downstream systems, such as Demand Side Platforms (DSP), Facebook, Yahoo!, Google Analytics, Nielsen.
Track cloud costs - We've added functionality to be able to add labels to cloud resources so that you can easily categorize cloud costs. Custom labels can now be added in Spark runtimes and BQ processes so that when these resources are used the custom label is added and then easily categorized in billing reports.
Design your own processes - Process templates, also known as User Defined Processes (UDP), gives the ability for a user to create a new, custom process that then can be (re)used in apps by dragging them into the workflow canvas as can be done with the system defined processes.
Previously, the UDP designer feature only allowed text fields to be added as parameters for the process. Text fields are not enough for the various types of processes you may want to create. The feature has been revamped to allow UDP designers more control and the ability to define a number of different types of input parameters.
Job Date Range Adjustment - When creating a job there are several options to define the date range. When using the date range option "Last N Days" the system was implicit including the current day as the end date and including N days in addition to the current day, i.e. a value of 1 day meant the job would run for yesterday and today; a value of 0 meant just for today.
The behavior of this setting has been altered to be more self-explanatory, now seen as "N Days" to represent the total number of days the job should run, i.e. a value of 2 means the job will run for yesterday and today; a value of 1 day now means only the current day.
Adobe Audit notification reformat - The Adobe Audit process, responsible for validating the tb_event data processed with metrics provided by Adobe Analytics, informs users of discrepancies via email notification. This email notification has been reformatted to ensure the most important information is readily available and highlighted.
- Infrastructure - The Infrastructure screen, which is required to install and configure the Syntasa application within the specified cloud environment, is now limited to those users with the role System Admin.
