Welcome to Syntasa, our industry-leading AI and Behavioral Data Platform that enables you to quickly build your first-party behavioral + enterprise data pipeline, build and deploy your customized models, and thus be able to realize and utilize insights from your data faster.
One of the additional advantages of the platform is that it runs within your own virtual private cloud (VPC). Your data stays within your environment while being transformed and enhanced within the data pipelines and customized models.
In order for the Syntasa platform to be installed and able to process data in your cloud there are a few steps that need to be taken:
- Preparing the cloud environment
- Installing the Syntasa platform
- Connecting the software with the cloud instance
Preparing the cloud environment
To be able to install and utilize the Syntasa platform within your own VPC, the cloud environment first needs to be prepared as a foundation for the software to then be installed on top.
A Syntasa solution utilizing AWS requires a new, dedicated VPC for the Syntasa installation, a number of roles and subnets, and EC2 instance for computing resources, and an S3 bucket for storage. The article Syntasa Pre-Install Guide - Amazon Web Services (AWS) reviews the prerequisites needed to properly build the foundation that the software will then be installed on.
Installing the Syntasa platform
After the foundation within your VPC has been established, the Syntasa software can now be installed on top of that foundation. Typically the installation of the software will be performed by the Syntasa services team.
Connecting the software with the cloud instance
Once the foundation in the cloud is established and the Syntasa software has been installed on that foundation, the final step is to wire and connect the two together. The configuration required to do such is typically performed by the Syntasa services team.
As with the installation of the software, if a system administrator is also configuring the software themselves then the System Configuration Guide is available for instruction.
