The Syntasa platform supports multiple types of authentication mechanisms to securely allow the users to access the platform. The platform can be configured to allow one or more authentication modes within a single installation.
Authentication Types:
- LOCAL
- GOOGLE (OAuth)
- PKI
- LDAP
- OKTA (OAuth)
- GEOAXIS (OAuth)
LOCAL authentication is the default mode of authentication and user management is done within the Syntasa platform by Sys Admin users.
GOOGLE authentication allows users to sign in with a Google account. The Syntasa platform will perform the federation with an additional option of auto-creating the user in Syntasa. Google OAuth for GSuite is used to establish this authentication.
PKI authentication mode allows the users to use the digital PKI certificate that can be imported into the user browser to authenticate with the Syntasa platform.
LDAP authentication mode allows the integration with the customer's LDAP server to authenticate and allows access to the Syntasa platform.
OKTA authentication mode allows the integration with the customer's OKTA account to perform SSO.
GEOAXIS authentication mode allows the integration with GeoAxis Enterprise Identity and Access Management to allow SSO access to the Syntasa platform.
