Am I able to use my notebook to access local resources?

I like that I can use a Syntasa Notebook to access Hive, S3 and other resources, but was wondering how I may be able to access files on my local machine.

  No. You are not able to access local files using a Syntasa Notebook at this time, but is a capability that may be supporting in a future version of Syntasa. To workaround this you can store your file(s) in your project's data store (i.e. S3, GCS) and connect to the data store with your notebook.

  As of version 6.3 the user can upload files from their local machine to storage using Syntasa.
